Thank you for placing an order with The PinUp Gal, we greatly appreciate your business.
We will gladly accept exchanges, based on the following guidelines.

Return Policy

All returns are accepted, on an EXCHANGE BASIS ONLY.

Returns must include the Order Receipt.

Customers must email sales@thepinupgal.com before sending an exchange. Customers are encouraged to address any questions they may have before ordering as The PinUp Gal does not grant refunds. Delivery charges are nonrefundable. Sale items cannot be exchanged.

All Australian returns, must be shipped back within 15 days of the purchase date.

We are happy to exchange your item for another size if it is in stock or if it is not in stock we are happy to offer you a store credit or order it in for you. 

With your returned item please include a note that includes your name, address, email address, item you wish to get as an exchange & the size you are wanting.

You are only allowed to exchange an item one time. So make sure you choose your exchange and size wisely. There are size charts provided on our site to help you with this.

If you are returning a flawed or damaged item, please send it back immediately with a note as to what the damages are, when it was ordered, your name, shipping address and payment method.

ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS, EXCHANGE BASIS ONLY.

Before Returning an item, please note the following:

All returns, must be shipped back within 15 days of the purchase date. If the item is not returned within this time period, there will be no exchange allowed.

Returns must be sent back with original receipt from The PinUp Gal, in original wrapping, unworn/ unwashed, have all original tags attached, be buttoned/zipped, right side out, no make-up/ deordarant/purfume (anything that could leave a stain or smell) marks from trying the item on. Items not returned as stated will be charged a 15% restocking fee.

When sending your item back, we recommend that you send it registered post or use a carrier that can issue you a tracking number to ensure that we have received your item.  We will not be responsible for lost or stolen articles sent back to us, without a proper form of tracking.

Before returning any orders please email us at sales@thepinupgal.com with "RETURN" in the subject box along with your order number. Also we cannot process any returns unless you include in the package a copy of your invoice or all the order details including the order number, when it was ordered, your name, shipping address and payment method.

Refunds

All items are checked before dispatch, but we are a small company and mistakes can happen. In the unlikely event your item is damaged or incorrect please email us with the details and reasons why you would like a refund at sales@thepinupgal.com write “REFUND” and your order number in the subject line so we can advice you on how to proceed.

This is the ONLY circumstance under which we will refund. We can only confirm that a refund will be given once we have received the return and checked it. Once we get it back we will try to process the refund and inform you as soon as possible.

Stock

Although we have most of our merchandise in stock, occasionally out of stocks occur. We notify the customer if their item is out of stock and can often give an estimated arrival time. At that time, the customer can choose to wait or simply request a refund.

All out of stock orders or backordered items will be shipped as soon as they arrive.

Charges for returning an item

Customers will have to pay the shipping charges, when returning an item back to The PinUp Gal. Customers will also have to pay any shipping charges, to have the exchange sent back to you. If there is a difference in price (on the exchanged item), you will have to pay the difference.

There are no returns/exchanges accepted on sale items.

There are no returns/exchanges accepted on items that were requested to be specially ordered in by the customer.

International Orders

International orders are welcome; however, shipping charges are generally more expensive. Please place your order as usual and shipping charges will be based on the size of the order and your location. 

NOTE: It is very important that you provide us with a valid email address. 

It is important to us that your return/exchange be as pleasant and hassle free as possible. Please follow the all the guidelines, and if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us at sales@thepinupgal.com Please make sure that we receive your international return within 30 days from the date on the “Sales Receipt”.  Items received after 30 days will be returned to you and the credit card that we have on file will be charged for the return freight. You will be responsible for all shipping fees when returning an item. The original shipping charge is not refundable. If you are doing an exchange, you are also responsible for the shipping of the new item back to you.

We recommend a shipping method that you can track or insure when returning your item to us. Please return all items in the same condition in which they were originally shipped. Items must be in original wrapping, unworn/unwashed, have all original tags attached, be buttoned/zipped, right side out, no make-up/deodarant/purfume (anything that could leave a stain or smell) marks from trying the item on. Items not returned as stated will be charged a 15% restocking fee, or possibly returned to you at your expense. This is necessary for us to maintain quality. 

Custom Fees

International orders may incur a customs fee. It is the customer’s responsibility to pay the customs and import duties. We cannot determine in advance what these charges will be. Please contact your local customs office to determine the customs costs. If you refuse to pay them, you are responsible for the original shipping costs to you, any duties, taxes and/or customs charges that are incurred on the package, and the cost of returning the package. These costs will be subtracted from your merchandise refund and your credit card will be charged accordingly.

New Zealand

Postage & handling for items purchased from The PinUp Gal Store shipped to the USA is charged at a flat rate of AUD$25, any customs or import duties are to be paid by the customer.

Items may be subject to customs fees. The duty is determined by the value of the merchandise and is determined by Customs.

United States of America

Postage & handling for items purchased from The PinUp Gal Store shipped to the USA is charged at a flat rate of AUD$45, any customs or import duties are to be paid by the customer.

Items may be subject to customs fees. The duty is determined by the value of the merchandise and is determined by Customs.

Canadian Customs

Postage & handling for items purchased from The PinUp Gal Store shipped to Canada is charged at a flat rate of AUD$45, any customs or import duties are to be paid by the customer.

Anything over $20.00 CAD will be subject to customs fees. Taxes, PST & GST, will vary based on the province to which the items are shipped. The duty is determined by the value of the merchandise and is determined by Customs.

UK Customs

Postage & handling for items purchased from The PinUp Gal Store shipped to the UK is charged at a flat rate of AUD$45, any customs or import duties are to be paid by the customer.

UK duties, taxes and brokerage fees on items shipped to the UK are established by UK Customs. Customs Duty is charged on the purchase price of the goods and can be as high as 30% of the total purchase price. Most goods arriving in the UK from outside the EU are liable to any or all of these charges: Customs Duty; Excise Duty, Import V.A.T charges, Brokerage Surcharges.

Product Care

We advise DRY CLEAN ONLY for all The PinUp Gal items (excluding T-shirts), we will not be held responsible for inappropriate care of your purchased items. Do not iron t-shirt decorations, we recommend washing our t-shirts in cold water on gentle cycle with the t-shirt inside out and dry on low heat.

Warning labels?

You may see warning labels on certain Fluff products. A requirement of the State of California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 “Proposition 65” says that if a product contains one or more of a regularly updated list of over 300 chemicals, even trace amounts, then any person coming into contact with the product must be reasonably notified of the “potential” risk. It is practically impossible for any manufacturer such as ourselves to test our products to this level and so as a precautionary measure both to ensure we fulfill our duty to our customers and also to protect Fluff as a company we have been advised to label our products - even if the risk is practically non-existent. Most all of these substance dangers are based on ingesting the substance. Many soft PVC products contain phthalates, a chemical that gives “non leather” it’s flexibility. PVC also contains lead. There are many products on the market in California w/out proper “labeling” . Most soft PVCs contain these substances. There is a lot of debate as to the validity of the proposition for non consumable and non environmental applications. Fluff product is not intended for consumption.
